On my website, I, Pierre Adenis, process personal data of my users in the context of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), insofar as this is necessary to provide a functional website, its content and services. In principle, only those data are processed, in the collection of which I, as the provider, can prove a “legitimate interest” in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. Otherwise, if necessary, I will first obtain the user's consent. In detail, the following data is processed on my website:

Log files

When calling up any website - not just this one - the user's browser automatically transmits data to the web server: IP address, amount of data transferred, status of the call, referrer (referring address), date and time, language, operating system, name and version of the browser. This information is written to a log file. The storage takes place on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. GDPR and serves the operational security as well as the daily generation of retrieval statistics. The IP addresses in the log files are anonymized after seven days, the files are deleted after nine weeks at the latest, unless longer storage is necessary for evidence purposes. A transfer of this data to third parties is excluded, unless there is a legal obligation to do so in accordance with Article 6 (1) (c) GDPR.

Cookies, general

This website uses cookies, which are small text files that are stored on the user's computer. Cookies are used on my website to save the user's preferred language and for the light table function - both of which are described below - and can be deleted at any time via the privacy settings of the browser. The storage takes place in each case on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. GDPR. I do not offer registration for users that would save so-called session cookies. I also expressly do not use cookies to analyze users' surfing behavior. The website can also be viewed if the user deactivates cookies completely. In this case, however, the functions provided with the help of cookies will not work.

Data transfer to third parties

I do not use any third-party services such as Google Analytics, ad servers from advertising providers or social media buttons. All resources are hosted locally on pierre-adenis.com and transmitted via a secure connection between web server and browser.

Safety measures

If changes to the data processing carried out on my website or feedback from users make this necessary, I will adapt my data protection declaration. Therefore, please inform yourself regularly about the content on this page.
